A company specialising in furnishing and fitting out offices and helping companies relocate is working with a homeless charity to help with fundraising.
Active, which works with one of the world’s largest sports car manufacturers, technology and insurance organisations and one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, is working with LaunchPad over the Christmas period, with volunteers helping with bucket collections.
Adrian Powell, Active’s director and co-owner, explained: “We have supported Launchpad in the past. It’s a great cause and we are proud to have the opportunity to help them again at this time of year. Reading’s public are very generous in their support of this local Reading Charity.”
Active has also launched a “waste not want not” scheme, which allows clients to donate used, unwanted furniture and equipment to local charities.
