Investment and development specialist Boultbee is set to buy Reading's 70,000 sq feet Kings House out of receivership, according to reports.

The privately-owned business is under offer to buy the empty town-centre building for more than the £6.5 million asking price, trade website CoStar reported.

It said Boultbee was expected to undertake an office redevelopment of the site, formerly owned by Mapeley, to capitalise on strong local demand for commercial floorspace.
