Reading's The Oracle shopping centre has announced deals that will see clothing brand Superdry create a flagship store and Arcadia brands Topshop and Topman double their presence.

Centre owners Hammerson said both retailers would take double-height retail units, with Superdry’s adding up to 1,000 sq metres and Topshop and Topman’s totalling 836 sq metres.

Hammerson portfolio director Peter Cooper said the latest lettings took the centre to 100 per cent capacity, following recent openings by Hugo Boss and Ed‘s Diner, and US burger chain Five Guys' scheduled opening later in the autumn.

“The Oracle consumer is brand aware and expects a central London retail offer,“ he said.

“Delivering flagship units with a full range of merchandise and exceptional shop fits are vital to support both catchment and sales growth for the scheme.”
