Prupim has submitted plans to demolish a 1970s office block in Reading and replace it with two new structures boasting 443,570 sq feet of commercial space.
The Prudential’s asset-management division bought the building, currently called Energis House - but known locally as Metal Box, from Scottish Widows Inverstment Partnership for £22.6 million in March last year, the Reading Post reported.
It said the redevelopment proposals would involve the construction of Two and Three Reading Central.
