Phone giant moves to Reading

Chinese telecommunications firm Huawei has agreed a 10-year lease to move to Reading's 300 South Oak Way office development.

The company will take the entire 140,000 building adjacent to the M4 motorway, property website CoStar reported.

It added that a second division of Huawei had recently been looking at the former WorldCom headquarters at Reading International Business Park but was understood not to have progressed negotiations.
