People living in Dee Park are being urged to have their say on the plans to change Ranikhet Primary School’s playing field.(Sourced from Get Reading.)
The plans are part of the Dee Park Regeneration Project in Tilehurst and will be carried out in phase one of the redevelopment.

Although the closing date for the consultation on the planning application for the scheme is Tuesday, September 29, there is more time – with a deadline of November 24 – to comment on the playing field changes.

All the 1960s flats on the estate will be demolished and phase one, if approved, will see 64 new affordable homes for rent, 60 sheltered homes within an extra care housing unit and 140 new homes for sale built.

Reading Borough Council, one of the partners in the Dee Park Partnership, is obliged to consult separately on the school playing field although it is an integral part of the overall scheme.
