The £250 million retail hub first opened its doors on September 23, 1999, and instantly transformed the town’s shopping experience.
Since then more than 200 million customers have passed through the three-storey leisure and shopping complex.
Its unrivalled mix of 118 shops, restaurants, cafés and bars has attracted visitors from miles around and helped make Reading the top shopping centre in the region.
Centre manager Steve Belam, who took charge in 2003, said: "It’s difficult to believe it is 10 years old. It still looks so fresh. The Oracle was the catalyst for the town’s regeneration. It increased retail footage by a third and made Reading capital of the Thames Valley shopping."
